The second location in my video is a brick wall. The shot in my video I am lying on this as it was a bed, I feel it gives a gritty feel to the video and make the watcher feel for the character playing in the video.
This location plays a big part in my video, this is a path which the character walks down, this is a really good location due to the fact it is very quiet, also there is a street light which provides light which allows me to film at night which is a massive positive.
This location a particular favourite of mine. Although in my video, the shot of this clip goes very quickly, but there is two reasons I enjoy this particular location. The first reason is the colouring from the white and yellow signs, just breaks up the dull brick wall and secondly, the sign says "Private Road" which gives the feel that the character is not meant to be there.
This location was used due to the fact not much light shone upon this area, I wanted this so I could create a somewhat shadow effect. Due to the lights being in the foreground, this allowed me to not be shown in full view, you could only see the outline of my body which is effect I wanted to create.
These stairs where used due to the fact they are very steep, this was a positive for me because when a drunk person tries to walk up steep stairs, it is hard to do which allows a more natural action. Also, they are white which means they stick out more and allows the audience to see clearer what he is doing.
This is the first time we see me enter my room, again we see me stumbling into my bed room which again signifies he is drunk and ready to go to bed, this is the last time we see this shot, although there are shots of me in the bed room, I did this to show that he will not be in this location again due to changing his ways.
My bed turned out to be a very important location when filming. I believe a bed signifies rest and calmness. This was evident in my filming when I got out of bed in my video. I used a bed to show that he has had a rest, he has calmed down from the night before and also it is turning point in the video.
This next location was used to set scene for the audience. I wanted the audience think what this man is looking at and what he is thinking of. I believe when a person looks out a window, it is a time for reflection and a time collect your thoughts, and by using this location in my video, I feel it makes the audience think.
After a night out, many people was their face to clear there head. I used this location to show that it was a rough night, and that he was drunk, and almost to say he is washing his problems away which is what I tried to achieve when using this location.
Again this location is favourite of mine in the video, this shot in my video is my favourite due to surprise element in the video. This location provided me with a flat service and a backdrop which I wanted when I shot this clip so I believe this was a very good location.
This shot location again allow the video to tell a different story. In the video it self, you see me reading a paper, and drinking coffee, this is a good shot because you would not expect me to be doing this after what prevailed the night before.
Here is the final location shot in my video. Again this a repeated shot of an earlier shot. This time it is very clearly me exiting the door, instead of me struggling to get in the door. I believe this is a very relevant shot of me exiting the door as it also the last shot of the video is well.
