Digipak- Analysis Advert ROUGH

Here is the advert, advertising my album. When researching adverts, one thing I did notice is they tend to use their album covers photo as there as the main photo in the advert. I believe this is an effective way of marketing due to the fact, if a person may see the advert, and they cannot remember the band name, and the adverts photo is the same as it is album, they will recognize the album, and may want to pick it up and take a look. Another reason I have used this image as the advert photo because I believe it is the best one. It is very unique compared to my other photos I took, the back drop really sets the scene, and I really like how the "White Straight Line" is below the road marking which to me really sets this photo apart.

The one thing that has changed is the font on the "White Straight Line". On my album cover, the font is a lot different due to the fact the album is unique and I do want to show everything on the advert. I also used a more formal font for the "White Straight Line" due to the fact it is an advert, it will be in magazines and in shops, so the font has to be formal and professional.

What we also see on the right of the screen is the release date and what the papers have said about the "album". This is also a common conception when you see a music album advertised in magazines. This would be for new listeners to the band who have not heard of them before. If they see they have a good rating from these well known magazines and papers, they are more likely to purchase them.
